Performing at Bristol Community Choir Convention - 2012
Below you can see a video of us on the same occasion and at the height of our potential 'energeticness' performing Zangaléwa, originally composed and performed by the Cameroon group Golden Sounds.
If the video does not show you can view it on youtube here.
It was brilliant to receive feedback about this performance of Zangaléwa from the lead singer of Golden Sounds Emile Kojidie, who wrote, "Very very good job. There is a big energy in this performing. Big hug to all the band."
Performing "Tuli Tuli" at Exeter Respect Festival - one of our favourite gigs! - 2014

Lunch-break at the Bristol Community Choir convention 2016
Outside George's Hall at the Bristol Community Choir convention in 2010, with our sister choir, Crediton World Music Choir, which is also directed by Alise.
It's a treat for both choirs to join together every now and again for a big sound and to enjoy each other's energy!
We performed two First Nation songs and a Bulgarian song.
If the video does not show you can view it on youtube here.
Click on the play icon (to the right) to hear us perform For the Pepper and Mahk Jchi, two First Nation songs. For the Pepper is a rattle song by Pura Fé, and Mahk Jchi is composed by Jennifer, Soni and Pura Fé of Ulali. Both these songs feature on their CD 'Mahk Jchi'. Grateful thanks to Pura Fé for her permission to arrange and perform these wonderful songs. Mahk Jchi is one of our all-time favourites!

Here we are in late November, 2016 performing at the Eden Project in Cornwall in the Mediterranean biome.
... Oops! Alise has just gone completely wrong in the Zangaléwa dance ...
... and here's what it should have looked like!
Below is an excerpt from our Winter Concert 2016 in the University Mary Harris Chapel.
The video didn't manage to focus on us so it's best seen really small else we're terribly fuzzy, but it's still fun to see three of our favourite songs - Zangaléwa by Golden Sounds, Grammah Easter's Lullaby by Pura Fé and Thina Simunye from South Africa adapted by Alise from the Agape Orphanage choir's arrangement.
Then a week later, here we are performing for the INTO @ University of Exeter 10th year celebrationary reception Dec, 2016
Vio, Mohammad and Snow introducing songs at the INTO performance.
